Programs and certifications

PNQM

The Brazilian Program for Wood Quality is a quality management system which provides a structure of standardization and control of the production processes in the companies, from the receipt of raw material and inputs to the final product’s packing and delivery.

The industries that deploy a PNQM management system achieve productivity and reduction of losses and costs, in addition to ensuring their access to major consumer markets with products that meet national and international technical regulations and standards.

PNQM certification mark

The companies approved in the certification process may print, on the front or side of the plywood, the Certification Mark, pursuant to standards set forth by the Brazilian Board for Wood Quality (CNQM).

The Certification Mark contains basic information necessary for product identification, including: manufacturer, quality of cover and back-cover, dimensions, recommended application and other aspects.
